“This was the first building project I've been involved with that I truly enjoyed. Scott from Stoneridge worked with his preferred architect to quickly draw up plans for a custom apartment build inside of my wife and I's aircraft hangar. The subcontractors were the best I've ever experienced. The electrical and plumbing work was pure artistry, a shame to have to cover it all up with walls and floors. The most exceptional work was done by the framer who worked alone for the most part. His attention to every detail and "fixing" the not so straight hangar walls and not so level concrete floor made all the follow on work straight and plumb. The drywall and paint work were also first class. I was dubious of the contracted build time of 12 weeks, but Scott Skiermanski was true to his word. There was a two week over run due to the custom windows and very custom cabinet tops that was not a factor in the end. The end result is a very comfortable summer home for us that is truly breathtaking.”

“My family would like to enthusiastically recommend Stoneridge Builders. My husband and I excitedly purchased our beautiful 64 year Cape Cod house only to learn that the addition on the back of our house was uninsulated, lacked proper HVAC, was unlevel, and was in desperate need of some esthetic updates (and that was before we got into the walls). We wanted a contractor who saw themselves as a true partner. As first time home owners, navigating our first major renovation, we needed a trustworthy and patient contractor who could help us maximize our budget, navigate what desired projects to prioritize and how to gain the greatest return on our investment. We did our homework. After extensive research we narrowed our search to 5 potential contractors for in-person meetings. Scott Skiermanski was responsive, timely, honest, transparent and insightful. During demo, we found other problems (faulty construction, water damage, code violations) some of which required navigating our first insurance claim. Stoneridge was there through it all. Apart from my beautiful home, I think that what elevated my experience working with Stoneridge was the time Scott and his team spend educating us on every element of their work. We’re better homeowners for having worked with Stoneridge. Personally, my family considers Scott a true friend. In the 10 months span of our project, everyone that worked on behalf of Stoneridge was professional, courteous and friendly. They took the time to answer all of our 2 year old’s questions and were even good humored when our 85 pound dog would sometimes get into their lunch boxes. More than that, I needed to delay elements of the project due to my father’s passing in addition to also requesting other elements be expediated as I prepared for the birth of my son – both instances were met with compassion with every effort made to make sure my family was accommodated and supported. We will only be working with Stoneridge moving forward!”

“Let me first start off by saying we received 4 quotes to begin. Scott Skiermanski at Stoneridge Builders was our last quote we received. I actually found Scott on Houzz, the others were recommendations from people we knew. Scott was the only one to provide us with a 25 page line-item detailed proposal. When we saw that, we knew he was hands down the most professional and the most organized. We also liked the fact that he gave very realistic allowances for our countertops, cabinets, appliances, etc.... for the other quotes we received, most were half of what Scott's allowance was. Scott was not the cheapest, and that is why - because he gave the most realistic expectations based on what he knew we were looking for. Our remodel and addition was pretty significant. We went from a 1550 sq ft ranch to a 3400 sq ft ranch, with a complete remodel on the existing home - interior and exterior. Talk about stressful! However, Scott was absolutely fantastic at returning emails, calls, and texts. I always heard how builders are kind of notorious for slow responses, or delaying responses if there is nothing to report. Not Scott! Probably because he managed his sub-contractors so well in the timing of everything we felt like our project came together very nicely time wise. We were also very impressed with how other people knew of Scott's reputation. For example, our architect we used told me just after we chose Scott that they had worked with him previously and that he was 'very good and very professional.' That was awesome to hear before the work started - very reassuring! Also, his sub-contractors spoke very highly of Scott. He has very strong relationships with his subs which is super important when something needed to be done quickly, or redone/touch ups after we moved in. (such as touch up paint or final electrical items) We would absolutely recommend Scott to anyone. He truly is a custom home builder, and he is the best at what he does. We loved that during construction, we asked if he could do certain things such as moving a wall back 12 inches, or a door move here and there, and he would easily honor our requests with no issues whatsoever. To the end, and even after construction, he has been fantastic and responsive. We are getting professional photos done soon so photos will be coming shortly of our beautiful house. Thank you to Scott and his team for building us our dream home - we could not be happier. We are so grateful!!!”
